Our New Years Eve celebrations kick off at 4:30pm and we’re accepting bookings for groups of a minimum of 4+ people.
🥳 Secure your table for late lunch or dinner from 4:30pm-8:30pm (it’s yours for 1 hr 45 mins).
🍽️ Fill up on our comforting, award-winning street food from 11+ traders, washed down with local beers, ciders, cocktails or warming mulled punch. Tickets include 1 drink per person and a wristband so that you can come and go as you please. If you’d like to venture out to Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party or catch the concert, we’re not stopping you.
🕺Dance the night away with us. From 10pm, we’ll be clearing out tables to make space for all your extravagant dance moves. We’re open until 1am!

4:30pm – 7pm Archie Topp (Jazz & Blues)
7pm – 9pm Shauna Doherty (Upbeat Acoustic)
9pm – 10pm Leanne Hood (DJ & Saxophone)
10pm – 1am Headliner: 5 piece band Splendid Question (Funky Twists to Well Known Songs You’ll Want To Dance To!)

Important small print:
Tickets cost £15 per person and include 1 drink per person (pint of beer or cider, 175ml glass of house white wine or house red wine, 125ml of Prosecco or a can of soda), a wrist band to return for the party portion of the evening and live music both during your meal and later for dancing. Tickets are strictly non-refundable. Cancelling your table booking at any stage will not result in a refund. Only those with booked tables/ wearing a wristband will be admitted from 4:30pm-1am. Limited ticket availability on the door – we recommend booking in advance. All kitchens will be open until 11pm, with limited food until 00:30am. Last orders at the bar 00:45am.
ESF has communal style long tables and benches – please book for all members of your party together in one transaction, to be sat together for your meal. Long tables may be divided up to accommodate two or three groups on one table. Please ensure you specify an area for your table (inside, or outside under the awning with heaters and blankets) – you will not be able to change your table on the evening.

Regular Bookings (not on New Years Eve!)
We can’t wait to see you at Edinburgh Street Food! We are an independent street food hall and we have over 550 seats inside and out. We launched group bookings to help your party of 10+ people secure a table all together and have an epic experience at ESF. Don’t panic if you have a smaller party or don’t want to commit to a booking, we still have room for over 300 walk-ins any day at any time. If you’d like to make a booking for more than 60 people please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, we’ll be more than help to help.
Our booking times are Sunday-Thursday 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 8pm, and on Friday-Saturday 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. In December we’re not accepting Saturday bookings. These are intentionally staggered to help our vendors keep up with the demand during a busy service.
Ts & Cs
We really rely on our guests honouring their reservations. If you need to make any amendments to your reservation, please do so as soon as possible through Resdiary or by contacting our fabulous front of house team on email@example.com. We do not have a phone number and cancelling bookings via social media won’t be accepted.
For all reservations, we require card details to secure your booking. These details are securely kept with a third party called Stripe and will only be charged if you don’t meet our terms and conditions:
- If for some reason you need to cancel your booking, you must give Edinburgh Street Food at least 24 hours notice before your reservation or you will be charged a £10 per person fee.
- If your party arrives with less than the number of guests originally on the booking, then you will be charged £10 per person for the missing guests.
- All bookings come with a 15 minute grace period. If you’ve not arrived at ESF within 15 minutes of your booking, your table will be released to walk-ins and you will be charged the £10 per person fee for every guest on the booking. Please bear in mind that we do not have a phone number – we really rely on you being punctual.
You’ll receive an automated email 48 hours before your booking, please do click to amend or cancel the booking, if required, once you receive this.
Our tables are long and communal – if your party doesn’t fill a whole table, it’s likely other customers may ask to sit with you.
ESF is suitable for guests of all ages, we’re buggy accessible and have lots of high chairs available. Please include all babies and children in your booking numbers and specify how many high chairs you’ll need so we can best accommodate your needs. We’re dog friendly too, don’t forget to ask our team for a water bowl!
Whilst we do see ourselves as a special occasion venue and will endeavour to meet any requests you might have, we’re a very casual street food hall and the ten traders (and additional guest traders) within Edinburgh Street Food operate independently from us. Unfortunately we can’t offer any freebies for Birthdays or unique celebrations, but we’ll be happy to store a cake for you.
