ACCESSIBILITY

Wheelchairs welcome!!

We are entirely on the ground floor with access at street level.

We have 2 accessible washrooms located at either end of our street food market and we can remove seating at our shared tables to allow access direct to the table. 

You can choose to order via a QR code on the table or with our floor staff using a paper menu. We bring all the food and drinks to you. 

Our brilliant team are here to make sure you have a 10/10 time. Please let them know if you need any assistance. 

ESF is a space for everyone and we’re always looking to see how we can improve. If you’ve got any feedback we’d love to hear from you.

BABIES & CHILDREN

We’re baby and child friendly!

We have baby changing facilities beside the main bar and can bring you a high chair on request. Just let one of our team know if you’d like a bench moved or removed to make space for a buggy.

Under 17s need to be accompanied by an adult but can stay at ESF until 11pm.

BOOKINGS

Our group bookings are for parties of 10+ people to secure a table all together and have an epic experience at ESF. 

Don’t panic if you have a smaller party or don’t want to commit to a booking, we still have room for over 300 walk-ins any day at any time. If you’d like to make a booking for more than 60 people please email us at events@esf.ltd, we’ll be more than happy to help.

Our booking times are Sunday-Thursday 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 8pm, and on Friday-Saturday 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. In December we are not accepting Saturday bookings. These are intentionally staggered to help our vendors keep up with the demand during a busy service.

DOGS

We’re dog friendly inside and out!

Share snaps of your four legged bestie at Edinburgh Street Food using the hashtag #DogsOfESF.

Well behaved dogs are always welcome, but if they’re barking or causing mischief we’ll ask them to leave – sorry. 

Please be aware ESF can get very busy and the music ramps up late at night. 

FOOD ALLERGENS & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

We’re HOT on allergies. In every kitchen, behind the bar and in our staff room we have allergy booklets which provide a full breakdown of every ingredient in each dish. 

Please alert our team to your allergies and make sure you chat to the street food vendor to check for allergies in any special dishes and for any potential cross contamination.

Our menu boasts a minimum of:

18 vegan mains, 15 vegan sides, lots of vegan sauces, 3 vegan desserts (with additional toppings like vegan honeycomb and adorable mini meringues made of chickpea water), and at least 5 vegan certified beers on draught, with more in the fridges.

We have gluten free options with separate prep areas and fryers for coeliacs – take a look at Antojitos, Junk and Harajuku Kitchen. Please always chat to the chef to ensure zero cross-contamination.

We have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and our fried chicken vendor CHIX uses certified Halal chicken.

ORDERING

ESF is for everyone and so there are three ways to order, to make the experience your own:

  1. Order via a QR code at your table and pay online.
  2. Ask for a physical paper menu and order with our awesome floor team.
  3. Head up to the kitchen, chat to the street food vendor and place an order with them. 

We’ll bring your food and drinks straight to your table as soon as they’re ready.

PACKAGING

Every trader uses biodegradable, compostable and eco-friendly packaging.

Some of our packaging may contain a ‘plastic in product’ logo, this is due to new legislation which enforces labelling when PLA ( 100% biosourced and biodegradable plastic) is used. 

PARKING

We have a code for 20% off pre-booked parking in the Q Park carpark underneath Edinburgh Street Food.

Book your car parking here, follow the pre-book instructions and use our code OMCE20 for 20% off your parking. You will be asked to input your vehicle registration number, and this will enable the barriers to open for you. You can also enter and exit as many times as you like during the prebooked period without the need for any tickets.

SOCIAL MEDIA

We’re very social. Find us on Instagram (our main channel), Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn. Share your ESF experience with the hashtag #EdinburghStreetFood so we can see it and share it. 

TAKEAWAYS

You won’t ever see a fluorescent delivery bag or helmet in ESF, it’s just not our vibe. 

If you’re in a hurry or don’t want to leave a morsel of that epic dish, just ask our floor team or the street food vendor for a biodegradable takeaway container.
